This CCD security camera is strictly a side view camera. Camera is positioned at 45 degrees--Smoke Detector does not actually work. The camera employs a 1/3" Sharp CCD solid-state image device which provides etremely long life and high reliability. It is ideal for installation with ceiling tile, drop ceiling or anywhere a person can run wire for power behind the camera housing. The camera provides a BNC connection for video and RCA connection for power. Easy installation, just plug and play.
